    Listed chronologically by release date.

    Amityville Horror (USA 2005)
    Director: Andrew Douglas
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 28.98
    MPAA Rating: R
Ryan Reynolds (George Lutz), Melissa George (Kathy Lutz), Jesse James (Billy Lutz), Jimmy Bennett (Michael Lutz), Chloe Moretz (Chelsea Lutz), Rachel Nichols (Lisa), Philip Baker Hall (Father Callaway),

Diffident retelling of the classic haunted house movie, scares come, courtesy of The Ring (can you copyright scares?). Good performances (is that really the Van Wilder guy?), but nothing new here, the first version was actually scarier. The R rating seems a little harsh considering what passes for PG-13 these days.

    Bedlam (USA 1945)
    Director: Mark Robson
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 19.97
    MPAA Rating: NR
Boris Karloff (Master Simms), Anna Lee (Nell Bowen), Billy House (Lord Mortimer), Richard Fraser (Hannay), Glen Vernon (The Gilded Boy), Ian Wolfe (Sidney Long), Jason Robards (Oliver Todd), Ellen Corby (Queen of the Artichokes),

Double-billed with Isle of the Dead, an earlier collaboration between Karloff, director Mark Robson and producer Val Lewton. This one features the popular UK lunatic asylum known as Bedlam from whence the word came.

    Billion Dollar Brain (UK 1967)
    Director: Ken Russell
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 14.94
    MPAA Rating: NR
Michael Caine (Harry Palmer), Karl Malden (Leo Newbigen), Ed Begley (Gen. Midwinter), Oscar Homolka (Col. Stok), Francoise Dorleac (Anya), Guy Doleman (Col. Ross), Milo Sperber (Basil), Vladek Sheybal (Dr. Eiwort), Susan George (Russian Girl on Train), Donald Sutherland (Scientist on computer),

After two earlier low key Harry Palmer vehicles, Ken Russell pulls out all the stops to outdo James Bond. I thoroughly enjoyed this as a kid. Suspect it will have dated somewhat. Climax on the ice is memorably surreal.

    Cat People (USA 1942)
    Director: Jacques Tourneur
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 19.97
    MPAA Rating: NR
Simone Simon (Irena Dubrovna), Kent Smith (Oliver Reed), Tom Conway (Dr. Judd), Jane Randolph (Alice), Jack Holt (Commodore), Alec Craig (Zookeeper), Eddie Dew (Street Cop), Elizabeth Dunne (Miss Plunkett), George Ford (Whistling Cop), Mary Halsey (Blondie), Theresa Harris (Minnie),

Oodles of atmosphere in this classic tale of a lady who exhibits the odd feline trait when feeling passionate. Flawlessly directed and cast. Recommended.

    Cinderella (USA 1950)
    Director: Wilfred Jackson
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 29.99
    MPAA Rating: G
Ilene Woods (Cinderella), Eleanor Audley (Lady Tremaine), Verna Felton (Fairy Godmother), Claire Dubrey (), Rhoda Williams (Drizella), James MacDonald (Gus/Jacques/Bruno), Luis Van Rooten (King/Grand Duke), Don Barclay (Doorman), Lucille Bliss (Anastasia), June Foray (Lucifer), Betty Lou Gerson (Narrator),

Loaded 2 Disc special edition of the Disney perennial, including two extra songs lurking in the special features. Can't say this was ever one of my favourites, marking a transition of sorts to a slightly more economical style though not as hip as the next batch (Lady and the Tramp et al).

Curse of the Cat People (USA 1944)
    Director: Robert Wise
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 19.97
    MPAA Rating: NR
Simone Simon (Irena), Kent Smith (Oliver Reed), Jane Randolph (Alice Reed), Ann Carter (Amy Reed), Eve March (Miss Callahan), Julia Dean (Mrs Julia Farren), Erford Gage (Captain of Guard), Elizabeth Russell (Barbara), Sarah Selby (Miss Plumett),

Sequel to the classic supernatural tale goes off in a completely different direction, focusing on the strained relationship betwixt father and daughter. Directorial debut for the late, great Robert Wise.

    Demon Seed (USA 1977)
    Director: Donald Cammell
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 19.97
    MPAA Rating: R
Julie Christie (Susan Harris), Fritz Weaver (Alex Harris), Gerrit Graham (Walter Gabler), Berry Kroeger (Petrosian), Lisa Lu (Soon Yen), Robert Vaughn (Proteus IV), Michael Dorn (Bit), Felix Silla (Baby),

In an automated house, the local robot decides to go forth and procreate. Despite the ludicrous premise, Demon Seed is actually fairly well thought out, courtesy of Dean R. Koontz's novel. Claustrophobic and scary. Back in the day the final frisson rivaled that of Carrie. Recommended for fans of offbeat sci-fi/horror.

Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (USA 1988)
    Director: Dwight H. Little
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 19.98
    MPAA Rating: R
    Screen Ratio: 1.85:1
Donald Pleasence (Dr. Loomis), Ellie Cornell (Rachel Carruthers), Danielle Harris (Jamie Lloyd), Beau Starr (Sheriff Meeker), George P. Wilbur (Michael Myers), Sasha Jensen (Brady), Kathleen Kinmont (Kelly Meeker), Michael Pataki (Dr. Hoffman), Jeff Olsen (Richard Carruthers), Karen Alston (Darlene Carruthers), Gene Ross (Earl),

Michael gets formulaic in this follow up to Halloween II (Not III!). People die. The William Shatner mask sported by our hero doesn't look as good in these subsequent sequels. Weak.

    Interpreter (USA 2005)
    Director: Sydney Pollack
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 29.98
    MPAA Rating: PG-13
Nicole Kidman (Silvia Broome), Sean Penn (Tobin Keller), Catherine Keener (Dot Woods), Jesper Christensen (Nils Lud), Yvan Attal (Philippe), Earl Cameron (Zuwanie), George Harris (Kuman-Kuman),

Not bad international intrigue thriller of UN interpreter Kidman who gets wind of an assassination plot and becomes entangled with Penn's Secret Service Agent.

Isle of the Dead (USA 1945)
    Director: Mark Robson
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 19.97
    MPAA Rating: NR
Boris Karloff (General Nikolas Pherides), Ellen Drew (Thea), Marc Cramer (Oliver), Katherine Emery (Mrs. St. Aubyn), Helene Thimig (Madame Kyra), Alan Napier (St. Aubyn), Jason Robards (Albrecht), Ernst Deutsch (Dr Drossos), Sherry Hall (Greek Colonel), Skelton Knaggs (Robbins),

Lesser entry in the Val Lewton produced canon, concerning an outbreak of plague on a Greek island, Karloff is good though.

Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane (USA 1976)
    Director: Nicolas Gessner
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 14.94
    MPAA Rating: PG
Jodie Foster (Rynn Jacobs), Scott Jacoby (Mario Podesta), Martin Sheen (Frank Hallet), Mort Shuman (Miglioriti), Alexis Smith (Mrs Hallet),

Tale of underage girl who fakes her father's existence in order to lead a quiet life (she wishes). Extraordinary performance from Jodie Foster in this brilliantly creepy thriller with splendid twists from Laird Koenig's novel. Highly recommended.

Night of the Lepus (USA 1972)
    Director: William F. Claxton
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 19.97
    MPAA Rating: PG
Stuart Whitman (Roy Bennett), Janet Leigh (Gerry Bennett), Rory Calhoun (Cole Hillman), DeForest Kelley (Dr. Elgin Clark), Paul Fix (Sheriff Cody), Melanie Fullerton (Amanda Bennett), Chris Morrell (Jackie Hillman), Bob Hardy (Professor Dirkson), I. Stanford Jolley (Dispatcher), Henry Wills (Frank),

Giant killer bunnies scamper over the American heartland. My all-time favourite truly awful movie. Played dead straight and featuring thoroughly unconvincing special effects. I suggest theme parties with V8 used as a mixer. I defy any movie to seem 'bad' to you after this one. Bonus for Trekkies, two, count 'em two Enterprise Doctors in the cast.

    Psychomania (UK 1971)
    Director: Don Sharp
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 5.99
    MPAA Rating: PG
Nicky Henson (Tom), Mary Larkin (Abby), Ann Michelle (Jane), Roy Holder (Bertram), Denis Gilmore (Hatchet), Charles Greenwood (Chopped Meat), Peter Whitting (Gash), Rocky Taylor (Hinky), Robert Hardy (Chief Inspector Hesseltine), Patrick Holt (Sergeant), Alan Bennion (Constable),

Utterly bizarre attempt to make a horror movie for young motor bikers. Occasional flashes of humour amidst the embarassment.

    Robot Jox (USA 1989)
    Director: Stuart Gordon
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 14.94
    MPAA Rating: PG
Gary Graham (Achilles), Anne-Marie Johnson (Athena), Paul Koslo (Alexander), Robert Sampson (Commisioner Jameson (sic)), Danny Kamekona (Dr Matsumoto), Hilary Mason (Professor Laplace), Michael Alldredge (Tex Conway), Jeffrey Combs (1st Prole), Carolyn Purdy-Gordon (Kate),

One of two similar themed movies from the same time period (Crash & Burn is the other) featuring gianormous battling robots, oddly enjoyable in a Mortal Kombat video game sort of way.

    Santa Claus (USA 1985)
    Director: Jeannot Szwarc
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 14.98
    MPAA Rating: PG
Dudley Moore (Patch), John Lithgow (B.Z..), David Huddleston (Santa Claus), Burgess Meredith (Ancient Elf), Judy Cornwell (Anya Claus), Jeffrey Kramer (Towzer), John Barrard (Dooley),

Truly hideous Christmas movie, in which everything and everyone is completely obnoxious. Plot concerns evil toymaker's scheme to subvert the holiday. Small children may love it (but deserve better). Adults may enter catatonic state.

Star Trek: TNG 4: Nemesis (USA 2002)
    Director: Stuart Baird
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 19.99
    MPAA Rating: PG-13
Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard), Jonathan Frakes (Commander William T. Riker), Brent Spiner (Lt. Commander Data), LeVar Burton (Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge), Michael Dorn (Lt. Commander Worf), Marina Sirtis (Counselor Deanna Troi), Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher), Tom Hardy (Shinzon), Ron Perlman (Viceroy), Shannon Cochran (Senator Tal'aura), Dina Meyer (Commander Donatra),

Faintly disappointing final voyage for the Next Generation folk, it's the plot that's creaky as Picard battles his own son (sort of). This is a loaded edition and Paramount have excelled themselves over the original release.

    Vampires: Los Muertos (USA 2002)
    Director: Tommy Lee Wallace
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 14.94
    MPAA Rating: R
Jon Bon Jovi (Derek Bliss), Natasha Wagner (Zoey), Cristian De La Fuente (Father Rodrigo), Arly Jover (Una), Darius McCrary (Ray Collins),

Disappointing follow up to John Carpenter's Vampires, despite being directed by his buddy, Tommy Lee Wallace. Arly Jover redeems things slightly as the lead vamp.

    Warriors (USA 1979)
    Director: Walter Hill
    Release Date: 10/04/2005
    Price: 19.99
    MPAA Rating: R
Michael Beck (Swan), James Remar (Ajax), Dorsey Wright (Cleon), Brian Tyler (Snow), David Harris (Cochise), Tom McKitterick (Cowboy), Marcelino Sanchez (Rembrandt), Terry Michos (Vermin), Deborah Van Valkenburgh (Mercy), Roger Hill (Cyrus), David Patrick Kelly (Luther),

Ripe for rediscovery, Walter Hill's stylized tale of turf war amidst the gangs of New York. Ridiculous but enjoyable, I keep expecting the gangs to start singing the "Jet Song" from West side Story. Recommended.

    Abba: The Movie (Sweden 1977)
    Director: Lasse Hallstrom
    Release Date: 10/11/2005
    Price: 19.98
    MPAA Rating: NR
Benny Andersson (Abba), Anni-Frid Lyngstad (Abba), Bjorn Ulvaeus (Abba), Agnetha Faltskog (Abba), Robert Hughes (Ashley),

The vaguest of vague plots only occasionally interrupts Abba doing their 70s musical thing - 21 tunes in fact! Directed competently by the guy who would later do the brilliant My Life as a Dog! Highly recommended FOR ABBA fans!!!

    Batman (USA 1989)
    Director: Tim Burton
    Release Date: 10/11/2005
    Price: 26.99
    MPAA Rating: PG-13
Michael Keaton (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Jack Nicholson (The Joker/Jack Napier), Kim Basinger (Vicki Vale), Robert Wuhl (Alexander Knox), Pat Hingle (Police Commissioner Gordon), Billy Dee Williams (District Attorney Harvey Dent), Michael Gough (Alfred), Jack Palance (Carl Grissom), Jerry Hall (Alicia), Tracey Walter (Bob the Goon), Lee Wallace (Mayor),

Tim Burton's stylish resurrection of the Dark Knight with production design to die for and packed with the director's trade marked quirkiness and a mixed-bag soundtrack from Danny Elfman and the-artist-formerly-known-as-Prince.

    Emanuelle's Daughter (Greece Cyprus 1979)
    Director: Elia Milonakos
    Release Date: 10/11/2005
    Price: 29.95
    MPAA Rating: NR
Laura Gemser (Emanuelle), Gabriele Tinti (Tommy Snow), Livia Russo (Livia Brindisi),

Somewhat restrained entry in the increasingly bizarre rip-off Emanuelle series featuring sultry Laura Gemser who ends up caretaking her stepdaughter from a husband she is trying to have killed?!

    Kingdom of Heaven (USA 2005)
    Director: Ridley Scott
    Release Date: 10/11/2005
    Price: 29.98
    MPAA Rating: R
Martin Hancock (gravedigger), Michael Sheen (Priest), Nathalie Cox (Balian's wife), Eriq Ebouaney (Firuz), Jouko Ahola (Odo), David Thewlis (Hospitaler), Liam Neeson (Godfrey), Philip Glenister (Squire), Orlando Bloom (Balian), Bronson Webb (Apprentice), Kevin McKidd (English Sergeant),

Completely butchered at the box office by that Sith thing (why did the studio let them compete?), hopefully Ridley Scott's meditation on the crusades will find a bigger audience on DVD. Stunning battle sequences, historical accuracy and Jeremy Irons at the top of his game. Not as enjoyable as Gladiator, but infinitely better than Troy or Alexander. Highly recommended.

    Super Size Me (USA 2004)
    Director: Morgan Spurlock
    Release Date: 10/11/2005
    Price: 24.99
    MPAA Rating: PG
    Morgan Spurlock (),

Morgan Spurlock's single-minded attack on America's eating habits as our hero decides to live on a McDiet of McFood for a McMonth, with predictable results. Funny and educational wake-up call to the overweight masses although McD's isn't the only villain here. We note that the film has certainly caused the fast food industry to revise their menus somewhat. Highly recommended.

    Teenage Exorcist (USA 1994)
    Director: Grant Austin Waldman
    Release Date: 10/11/2005
    Price: 9.95
    MPAA Rating: NR
Brinke Stevens (Diane), Eddie Deezen (Oizza Boy), Michael Berryman (), Hoke Howell (), Robert Quarry (Father McFerrin), Elena Sahagun (Sally),

The Brinke Stevens industry continues to crank out extreme low-budget horror films with a built in degree of awfulness. I'll give this one a point for having Robert Quarry and Michael Berryman in it.

Unleashed (France USA UK HK 2005)
    Director: Louis Leterrier
    Release Date: 10/11/2005
    Price: 29.98
    MPAA Rating: R
Jet Li (Danny), Morgan Freeman (Sam), Bob Hoskins (Bart), Kerry Condon (Victoria), Vincent Regan (Raffles), Dylan Brown (Lefty),

I never fail to be impressed by the athletic prowess of Jet Li, since his eye-popping US debut in Lethal Weapon 4. Alas, no subsequent vehicle has really proved satisfactory and Unleashed falls into that category. This one has a plot that seems like something the Brothers Grimm might have concocted with Jet Li as an even more abused Cinderella. Hoskins and Freeman are impeccable, the fights: brutal, the plot: unconvincing.

    Batman Begins (USA 2005)
    Director: Christopher Nolan
    Release Date: 10/18/2005
    Price: 28.98
    MPAA Rating: PG-13
Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne), Michael Caine (Alfred), Liam Neeson (Ducard), Katie Holmes (Rachel Dawes), Gary Oldman (Jim Gordon), Cillian Murphy (Dr Jonathan Crane), Tom Wilkinson (Carmine Falcone), Rutger Hauer (Earle), Ken Watanabe (Ra's Al Ghul), Mark Boone (Flass), Linus Roache (Thomas Wayne),

The origins of the Dark Knight courtesy of a winning script by David Goyer and director Christopher Nolan. Great performances in a very stylish comic-noir. Highly recommended.

    Battle of Britain (UK 1969)
    Director: Guy Hamilton
    Release Date: 10/25/2005
    Price: 24.96
    MPAA Rating: PG
Harry Andrews (senior civil servant), Michael Caine (Squadron Leader Canfield), Trevor Howard (Air Vice Marshal Keith Park), Curt Jurgens (Baron von Richter), Ian McShane (Sgt. Pilot Andy), Kenneth More (Group Captain Baker), Laurence Olivier (Air Chief Marshal Sir Hugh Dowding), Nigel Patrick (Group Capt. Hope), Christopher Plummer (Squadron Leader Harvey), Michael Redgrave (Air Vice Marshal Evill), Ralph Richardson (Sir David Kelly, Swiss Embassy),

The story of Hitler's attempt to win air superiority over the Brits in WWII. All star, big budget, big action film delivers. One of the very best. Special mention for Ron Goodwin's score who briefly takes a back seat to a brilliant piece written by classical composer, William Walton. Highly recommended.

    Bewitched (USA 2005)
    Director: Nora Ephron
    Release Date: 10/25/2005
    Price: 28.95
    MPAA Rating: PG-13
Nicole Kidman (Isabel Bigelow), Will Ferrell (Jack Wyatt), Shirley MacLaine (Iris Smythson), Michael Caine (Nigel Bigelow), Jason Schwartzman (Ritchie), Kristen Chenoweth (Maria Kelly), Heather Burns (Nina), Jim Turner (Larry), Stephen Colbert (Stu Robinson), David Alan Grier (Jim Fields), Michael Badalucco (Joey Props),

Nicole Kidman acquits herself well in the for the 00s remake of the classic TV sitcom. Instead of a simple retread of the show, the film goes for some fancy plotting that requires an actress be hired to play the role of Elizabeth Montgomery in a film version of bewitched...Will Ferrell, who appears to be a requirement in any comedy these days, plays the actor playing Darren. Gottit? Not bad, the supporting cast help.

Billy the Kid vs. Dracula (USA 1966)
    Director: William Beaudine
    Release Date: 10/25/2005
    Price: 12.99
    MPAA Rating: NR
John Carradine (Dracula), Chuck Courtney (Billy the Kid), Melinda Plowman (Elizabeth), Virginia Christine (Eva Oster), Bing Russell (Dan 'Red' Thorpe), Olive Carey (Dr Henrietta Hall), Roy Barcroft (Sheriff Griffin), Harry Carey (Ben Dooley),

As awful-as-it-sounds cheapie from William 'one-shot' Beaudine, so nicknamed because he was always content with the first take. Look, there's Kurt Russell's dad though!

    Cannibal Holocaust (Italy Colombia 1980)
    Director: Ruggero Deodato
    Release Date: 10/25/2005
    Price: 29.95
    MPAA Rating: UR
    Robert Kerman (Prof. Harold Monroe),

Without a doubt the most revolting film to get a legitimate release. The various mayhem inflicted on the human cast pales to the genuine violence upon some unfortunate wildlife. For those who not only stop to look at traffic accidents, but get out and want to take body parts home with them too.

    Herbie: Fully Loaded (USA 2005)
    Director: Angela Robinson
    Release Date: 10/25/2005
    Price: 29.99
    MPAA Rating: G
Lindsay Lohan (Maggie Peyton), Michael Keaton (Ray Peyton Sr.), Matt Dillon (Trip Murphy), Breckin Meyer (Ray Peyton Jr.), Justin Long (Kevin), Cheryl Hines (Sally),

Terrific idea to update the Love Bug for the 00s. Lohan is as cute-as-all-get-out, but annoying. A cinematic sugar high.

    House of Wax (USA 2005)
    Director: Jaume Serra
    Release Date: 10/25/2005
    Price: 28.98
    MPAA Rating: R
Elisha Cuthbert (Carly Jones), Chad Michael Murray (Nick Jones), Brian Van Holt (Bo/Vincent), Paris Hilton (Paige Edwards), Jared Padalecki (Wade), Jon Abrahams (Dalton Chapman), Robert Ri'chard (Blake), Dragicia Debert (Trudy Sinclair), Thomas Adamson (Young Bo), Murray Smith (Dr Sinclair), Sam Harkness (Young Vincent),

Suitably gross remake of the 50s classic updated for the current perceived horror audience (ie twenty-somethings). Gimmick casting (Brussels Motel6 or whatever her name is) almost topples the thing and Elisha does get to run around in a vest screaming as though hoping Kiefer Sutherland is around someplace.

    Polar Express (USA 2004)
    Director: Robert Zemeckis
    Release Date: 10/25/2005
    Price: 29.98
    MPAA Rating: G
Tom Hanks (Boy/Father/Conductor), Leslie Harter Zemeckis (Sister Sarah/Mother), Eddie Deezen (Know-it-all), Nona M. Gaye (Girl), Peter Scolari (Lonely Boy), Brendan King (Pastry Chef), Andy Pellick (Pastry Chef), Josh Eli (Waiter), Mark Mendonca (Waiter), Rolandas Hendricks (Waiter), Mark Goodman (Waiter),

Like many entertainments these days, this CGI animated Xmas bauble seems overly padded. The Snowman made the same point in 1/3 of the time. I'm not the thing's target audience, but I was unimpressed (even by the undoubted technical wizardry).

    Titanic (USA 1997)
    Director: James Cameron
    Release Date: 10/25/2005
    Price: 29.99
    MPAA Rating: PG-13
Leonardo DiCaprio (Jack Dawson), Kate Winslet (Rose DeWitt Bukater), Billy Zane (Cal Hockley), Kathy Bates (Molly Brown), Frances Fisher (Ruth DeWitt Bukater), Bernard Hill (Captain E.J. Smith), Jonathan Hyde (J. Bruce Ismay), Danny Nucci (Fabrizio De Rossi), David Warner (Spicer Lovejoy), Bill Paxton (Brock Lovett), Gloria Stuart (Rose DeWitt Bukater),

Finally a loaded special edition of Cameron's soggy romantic drama. A film that people seem to love or hate (or even love to hate - although I note that a lot of its detractor's haven't actually seen it). I think the film is great cinema, ignore the romance and watch as a major tragedy unfolds with astonishing attention to detail before your eyes. Highly recommended.

    Wizard of Oz (USA 1939)
    Director: Victor Fleming
    Release Date: 10/25/2005
    Price: 49.92
    MPAA Rating: G
Clara Blandick (Auntie Em), Ray Bolger (Scarecrow/Hunk), Billie Burke (Glinda, the Good Witch), Charley Grapewin (Uncle Henry), Jack Haley (Tin Man/Hickory), Margaret Hamilton (Wicked Witch/Miss Gulch), Bert Lahr (Cowardly Lion/Zeke), Frank Morgan (Prof. Marvel), Pat Walshe (Nikko), Walt Disney (), Judy Garland (Dorothy Gale),

Loaded beyond belief 3 disc special edition may set the bar for classic movie DVD releases. I could live without the Lollipop Guild, but this is still peerless children's entertainment. Highly recommended for you and your little dog!

    Woman in White (UK 1996)
    Director: Tim Fywell
    Release Date: 10/25/2005
    Price: 19.95
    MPAA Rating: UR
Tara Fitzgerald (Marian), Justine Waddell (Laura), Andrew Lincoln (Walter Hartwright), Susan Vidler (Anne Catherick), John Standing (Mr. Gilmore), Adie Allen (Mrs. Porcher), Ian Richardson (Mr. Fairlie), James Wilby (Sir Percival Glyde), Anne Bell (Mrs. Rideout), Anne Etchells (Liza), Timothy Carlton (Glyde's Lawyer),

Costume drama meets whodunit in this BBC adaptation of Wilkie Collins' novel starring the delicious Tara Fitzgerald.
