Review
Shelley Long stars as a spoiled, rich, divorcee living off of her ex-husband's money in... you guessed it, Beverly Hills. After a recent fight with her husband who claims she has never done anything worthwhile, she decides to take on the chores of becoming Beverly Hills' Wilderness Girls team leader. She does her best to teach the young ones how to live off of the land, problem is, she's doing it the Beverly Hills way. Chaos ensues with the head Wilderness Girl leader, as she tries to foil Long's efforts.

The Disc
The disc is VHS quality, but at least the film itself is worth the look... due to the nostalgic feel of the Shelley Long 80's era.

Picture Quality: 4/10
Terrible transfer... plain and simple. The sharpness really isn't there, and the picture has a lot of flat images with terrible black hues.

Sound Quality: 5/10
No 5.1 here folks... but even the 2.0 is terrible. How they can screw up a 2 channel feed is news to me. The music is muddled, the dialogue and effects are too. It really is VHS-like.

Menu: 4/10
Just the basic menu with images from the film.

Extra Features: 4/10
There's really nothing. A few bonus trailers of OTHER movies... that's it.

The Final Word:
A fun film to watch, but a very sad transfer of sound and visuals. I hadn't seen this film until receiving this DVD... and I must say, I was surprised by the honest and fun humor to it. The film could have gone into slapstick hell, but it really played it straight with a lot of laughs.
