Review
To read Walter Firth's archived review click here. I give the movie an extra 1/2 a star for the full four stars. An incredible movie from the new Spielberg.

The Disc
Great Movie. Great DVD. This is a must have DVD.

Picture Quality: 10/10
Enjoy the many shades of red which drape this movie with atmosphere. The picture is so good that you too can see dead people!

Sound Quality: 10/10
This film is filled with many periods of silence which are punctuated by jolts of shocking sounds. The producers of this DVD took the fans into consideration. This is top notch all the way. I especially jumped during the scene in which the abused wife walked past the bathroom door while Haley Joel Osment was using it.

Menu: 10/10
Moody. Great use of sounds and images from the movie. Easy to navigate.

Extra Features: 10/10
Excellent interview. The featurettes are also top notch. I love the "Rules and Clues" featurette. If you are a first time viewer, don't watch this featurette before you watch the movie. The deleted scenes are also excellent. I enjoyed the commentary track concerning the deleted scenes. Director Shyamalan's horror film from his junior high school days.

The Final Word:
Get this DVD. Heck you probably already do! Great DVD. Once again the moneymen strike pay dirt because they give the fans what they want.
