Review
Click here for Stephen Wong's review from our archives. I didn't dislike the ending as much as he did, but I have to agree that it could have been better.

The Disc
Another great disc. Lots of extras that make DVDs far superior to VHS. Great transfer to disc.

Picture Quality: 10/10
Spielberg wouldn't let a shoody product be released. (except for Hook!). Great picture.

Sound Quality: 10/10
Hear the fear!

Menu: 10/10
As with Jurassic Park, the menu is clever, efficient and easy to navigate.

Extra Features: 10/10
No commentary, but so what! The conceptual paintings are excellent. Great artwork. Tons of photos. I liked the Poster gallery also. I wish that the deleted scene with Arless Howard had been included in the movie.

The Final Word:
I got this as part of a boxed set called "Jurrasic Park: The Collection." It also includes "Jurassic Park." Even though I already had both movies on video, I couldn't pass this up. Glad I got it. I actually bought it in a pawn shop for $10.00 so I got a great deal. Don't know what it costs new but it would be worth it.
