Great soundtrack. Some of the best songs released by Disney. Full rich sound through all of the ranges. Makes excellent use of all channels.

Extra Features: 10/10
There are two games designed to help children develop word skills and rhythm.

The "Word Time" activity has a beginner and expert level. Kids must find the item which matches a word spoken by the narrator. A blue butterfly flies through different scenes from The Lion King. Your child pushes the "Enter" button when the buttefly stops on the item they are to identify.

"Songs of Note" is similar to the game "Simon." The screen consists of a group of characters from The Lion King. The DVD plays several notes and the characters are highlighted. Your child then repeats the notes using the remote control. The game gets progressively harder as more notes are added.

The DVD also includes sneak peeks for "The Lion King: Special Edition," "Rolie Polie Olie: The Baby Bot Chase" and "Stanley."

The Final Word:
Another entertaining and educational DVD from Disney. Perfect for pre-school kids.
