Review
Powerful piece of war time filmmaking. To read my "Video Risk" of this and 5 other FOX War Classics click here.

The Disc
Great movie. Picture is fair. Sound is good. No extras.

Picture Quality: 6/10
Some pixilation. Several noticable of scratches and age spots. Not bad. Better than what you'd see on the late-late show.

Sound Quality: 7/10
Not bad considering the age of the soundtrack. Nice battle sounds during the films climatic and rousing battle sequence. Go USA!

Menu: 10/10
Good use of images from the movie. Easy to navigate.

Extra Features: 2/10
Lots of trailers for the movies in the series. Like I said on the reviews of other DVDs in this series: I wish Fox had dug into their vaults for old news reel footage from either the war or the films premiere and production.

The Final Word:
I love these old movies and am glad to have them. This disk is a keeper. Great acting and action.
