Review
A loner teenager orders the latest interative software, he is horrified to find that the high-tech wizardry penetrates his subconscious, where his darkest impulses lead him through a deadly maze of murder, deception, and desire.

The Disc
The disc is a clunker with no extras besides trailers for Urban Legends, I Know What You Did Last Summer, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

Picture Quality: 8/10
Surprisingly good transfer for this little cult flick. Hardly any grain, no haloes that I could see, and the blacks are pretty impressive.

Sound Quality: 6/10
No 5.1 to enjoy here... just a bland 2.0 mix that really doesn't offer anything special. The sound effects used in the film are actually pretty cool, but the 2.0 doesn't really allow us to enjoy it as much as we could have. The seperation isn't terrible, but much more could have been done.

Menu: 5/10
Standard images, intereactive menus.

Extra Features: 1/10
We "enjoy" three trailers and that is pretty much it.

The Final Word:
Overall, the film isn't THAT bad. T2's "star" Edward Furlong follows up the blockbuster with some terrible movies. Brainscan has a huge cult following due to its direction and even its writing (Andrew Kevin Walker wrote it)... meaning that it is a step above the rest of the B-Movie horror films out there.
