American Red Cross volunteers have been deployed to the hardest hit areas of Katrina’s destruction, supplying hundreds of
thousands victims left homeless with critical necessities. By making a financial gift to Hurricane 2005 Relief, the Red
Cross can provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need.
Short film Worms introduces the viewer to the worm temperament.
by Joe Dwyer
Worms is an independent short film written and directed by film student Kori Bundi. This is a wonderful film that takes place on an actual worm farm. Shot in black and white, the film portrays a gritty feeling of what it must be like to run such a difficult business. The narration coupled with Kori's superb direction of body language, facial expressions and images tells a heart-warming story. Kori learned much from the actual farmers before setting her actors to work, especially about how temperamental worms can be. Kori made a great and interesting story out of a side of farming that is virtually unknown to the rest of us. From what I've seen of Kori's abilities behind the camera, she has a very successful career ahead of her.
