An Interview with Director John Dowdle and Producer Drew Dowdle together with the star, Chip Godwin, of their film The Dry Spell (Slamdance Narrative Feature)

Starring: CHIP GODWIN, CASEY STRAND, and MEGAN EDWARDS

Run Time: 74 Minutes; Color

"The Dry Spell" is a sometimes annoying but damned funny little feature that uniquely melds dramatic elements with deeply human humor. Much of the film is an illustrated spoken word telling of one man's quest to end his sexual dry spell. Star Chip Godwin channels Woody Allen and others of like ilk through many flashbacks of former sexual conquests and humiliations. The movie makes you root for the loveable loser to find true love or at least a little sweaty intercourse.
