UNIVERSAL WINS FILM RIGHTS TO ARCADE CLASSIC "ASTEROIDS"

Universal Pictures has won the film rights to the classic 1979 arcade game "Asteroids", according to The Hollywood Reporter.

No word on story (can't wait to hear this one).

Lorenzo di Bonaventura will produce.
