SLATER TO HAVE ANOTHER SHOT AT PRIME TIME TV!

Christian Slater will replace former "Spooks" star Rupert Penry-Jones in the lead role of ABC's new Bruckheimer-produced series "The Forgotten", according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The mystery drama revolves around a group of amateur detectives led by a former cop (Slater) whose 11-year-old daughter was kidnapped three years before.

Brit Penry-Jones played the lead in the original shot pilot, he and a female cast member are being recast for a new version to begin filming shortly.

'Forgotten' premieres 10pm Tuesdays starting September 22nd.
